Mrs. Olis's 8th grade band update

The 8th grade band has been hard at work over the past four weeks preparing for our first performance on September 29! I would like to share with you a few updates as that ​

date draws near.

1. The 8th grade band will be sharing the field with the high school band on Friday, September 29. 8th grade band members will spend the first half of the game playing in the stands with the high school band and then join them on the field for halftime. More specific time details TBA, but please mark your calendars and alert the family! Dress for this event will be navy blue band shirt, shorts/jeans/khaki pants, and tennis shoes. Please make sure you know where that navy blue band shirt is!

2. Speaking of navy blue band shirts, the MIDDLE SCHOOL SHIRT FORMS ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY SEPT 15: If you have a 5th-8th grade band/orchestra student in your home and have not yet submitted the middle school t-shirt order form, please do so today by clicking here. All forms are due by this Friday, Sept 15, and we ask that ALL STUDENTS submit a form, even if you already have a t-shirt from last year to wear.
