BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

WE DID IT! Fifty-plus GHHS Marching Band members got packed off to Band Camp 2022 yesterday, for a week of hard work, learning, bonding, and fun. Thanks to

everyone who had a hand in the effort - we are grateful for all of our many parents volunteers! Be sure to join our Facebook group (GHBandParents) if you haven't already, as we will post Band Camp pictures there throughout the week. 

1. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: the first of the Band Parents Association's three major fundraising efforts is the Marching Band Decal Drive, scheduled this year for August 21 from 5-7pm. Please click hereto visit the signupgenius to sign up to help! Parent volunteers are needed to drive students around Grandview, and also to help check in and coordinate students and parent volunteers, and count money back at the school. 
2. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: In conjunction with the Decal Drive which raises money from individual donors and families, the Band Parents Association also offers sponsorship opportunities. If you have a family member, business, employer, or other community organization who may be interested in becoming a sponsor of the Bobcat bands, please visit our web site for more information that you can share with them (including a link to the sponsorship form). Sponsorship levels from $100 to $1500 are available, so there's something for every budget!

   REMINDER ABOUT REMIND: Have you joined Mrs. Olis's "Remind" list for text updates yet? If not, just text @ghmb21 to 81010. Mrs. Olis will use this for schedule reminders and communication updates throughout the year - but in particular it will be useful on Friday when she will give you a "heads up" when the buses are returning from Otterbein, so you will know when to pick up your weary traveler!
