GHBOB UPDATE

Good morning, GHBOB families! We have a couple more events coming up before we break for the holidays, and some other great stories to share. Please read on for more ​

details!

1. FIELD TRIP FUN: Since last we wrote, several of our instrumental music groups have enjoyed some off campus learning opportunities. Our GHHS marching band headed to downtown Columbus in November to see the OU Marching 110 in concert, and our 5th and 6th grade students visited Ohio State last week for their annual Celebration of Music concert. Click here to visit our web site to read more about both events and see photos!
2. HOLIDAY IN THE HEIGHTS: Join us TONIGHT on Grandview Avenue, when the City will host its annual "Holiday in the Heights" event. There will be vendors, sweets and treats, iceless ice skating and trackless train rides for the little kiddos, and best of all an appearance by our own GHHS JAZZ ENSEMBLE playing some jazzy holiday favorites at 5:30pm. The full event runs from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. See you there!

   GHHS HOLIDAY CONCERT: If indoor concerts are more your speed, well, we have that this week too! The GHHS Concert Band and GHHS Jazz Ensemble will give their annual holiday concert this Thursday, December 7 at 7:00pm in the GHHS Auditorium. The concert program is still coming together so it's not available yet, but you can click here to visit the documents page of our web site to bookmark it when it's posted later this week.
4. 
   GHBOB MEETING: The GH Band & Orchestra Boosters will meet NEXT Thursday December 14 at 6:30pm in the GHHS Band Room for our last regular meeting of 2023 (what?!?!). Join us to hear about plans for spring fundraising and other volunteer opportunities.
