GHBOB UPDATE

Good morning, GHBOB families! In addition to our usual news, as we get closer to our 75th Annual BOBCake Bash on April 12, we are going to be using this space for ​

VERY IMPORTANT updates and reminders regarding that event. Please stay tuned and read carefully as we need everyone to do their part! 

1. FIRST OF ALL, WE NEED YOUR CAKES: GHBOB families make many important contributions to BOBCake Bash, but there's one thing we ask of EVERY SINGLE BAND AND ORCHESTRA STUDENT - we need a cake from each of them! Cakes can be homemade or store-bought, either is fine - the only thing that matters is that we get it (these are the cakes that we give away in the cake circles all night). PLEASE NOTE, if you have two band/orchestra students in your family we ask for two cakes, three students = three cakes, and so on. Cakes can be dropped off at the GHHS Gymnasium beginning at 3pm on April 12 - please look for the cake drop-off volunteers.
2. SPEAKING OF VOLUNTEERS: If you haven't signed up already, we could still use your help with BOBCake Bash! Click here to visit the signupgenius and add your name today. How else can you help? Help us spread the word! Watch our Facebook page this week for posts about "What's New" for 2024 at the BOBCake Bash, for things you can talk about. You can also click here to visit the BOBCake Bash page on our web site for all the basic details. Tell your friends and neighbors, ESPECIALLY the ones with little kiddos, to mark their calendars and plan to join us for a night of great family fun for a great cause!

   GREAT NEWS FOR OUR ORCHESTRA FAMILIES! Our orchestra students are getting in on the act this year too, giving the first ever "Cupcake Concert"performance at the Grandview Heights Public Library on Wednesday, April 10 at 6pm - we'll have great music, free cupcakes, and raffle prizes including BOBCake Bash tickets. In addition, we have an exciting new BOBCake Bash sponsor this year, The Loft Violin Shop, who have donated a $100 gift certificate for our silent auction event at the BOBCake Bash. Plan to come and place your bids on that, and many other great items, on April 12 at the BOBCake Bash!

   CONCERT THIS WEEK: As we hurtle towards spring break (can you believe that???) we have one more opportunity to enjoy a live concert performance, from our GHHS Jazz Ensemble. Join us on Tuesday evening, March 19, at 7pm in the GHHS auditorium for that.
