GHBOB UPDATE

​Good morning GHBOB families! Read on for the BOBCake Bash signup and a few other quick notes from GHBOB!

1. BOBCAKE BASH SIGNUP: In case you missed it, the BOBCake Bash signupgenius is now live and you can find it by clicking here. There are almost 150 signup slots, but did you know that there are over 300 instrumental music students in our orchestra and band programs? So it should be really easy to get these filled, since the GHBOB programs we fund with the money we raise will benefit each and every one of those students. Please sign up to help today!
2. THE BLITZ IS OVER BUT THE MISSION CONTINUES: Today marks day 30 since we launched our "30 Day Volunteer Blitz", seeking to form new friendships and identify new leaders for some of our most important GHBOB programs....which means it has finally come to an end. THANK YOU ALL for your interest, participation, and indulgence! If you missed anything, you can catch up on our web site by clicking here. Check it out and let us know if there is a way you would like to get involved. And if you have already raised your hand to volunteer for something, THANK YOU AGAIN, and we plan to be in touch soon to follow up. Or if you just can't wait to get rolling, feel free to join us at our next GHBOB Board meeting on March 21 at 6:30pm in the GHHS band room.

   GHHS CONCERT BAND PERFORMS TONIGHT! Join us in the GHHS Auditoriumat 6pm tonight (Tue Mar 12) for the GHHS Concert Band's performance of the three pieces they will take to OMEA contest later this week. The GHHS Concert Choir and Grandview Singers will also perform. See you there!

   HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE CUPCAKE CONCERT? We are adding a few exciting new "twists" to this year's 75th edition of the BOBCake Bash, but one of the most exciting is the CUPCAKE CONCERT orchestra event a couple days before. Select members of the GH orchestra program will be giving a concert on Wednesday of BOBCake Bash week (Weds Apr 10) at 6pm in the atrium of the Grandview Heights Public Library. (Mr. Stanley will communicate more specific details to orchestra families regarding who will be performing.) We are THRILLED to offer this additional performance opportunity for our orchestra students, and we believe it will be a great community engagement opportunity to raise awareness for the BOBCake Bash too. What a win-win! Mark your calendars and plan to join us for music, free cupcakes, and raffle prizes!
