Holy moley, GHBOB families, was this ever a huge weekend for our instrumental music programs! Read on for all the great news and a couple of other important updates from ​

the GHBOB. 

1. BIG WEEKEND IN THE HEIGHTS! Friday night was BIG TIME in Grandview Heights, with Homecoming festivities and the 8th grade band joining the GHHS Marching Band on the field, plus some special pre- and post-game activities and concessions specials to round out the night. Click here to check out the full story, with photos and videos, on our web site! 
2. CONGRATULATIONS TO LYLA BAXTER: As if that wasn't enough excitement, GHHS senior marching band and jazz ensemble member Lyla Baxter performed this weekend with the Ohio State High School Honor Jazz Festival at OSU, as the only baritone saxophone player placed in the highest level ensemble. Click here to see the story and photos on our web site.    CONCESSIONS VOLUNTEERING: The autumn volunteering season is winding down but we do still have two more home football games to staff on October 13 and , and we would really appreciate your help! This is especially true for the last home game on October 20, which is senior recognition night - so many of our regular volunteers will be honored on the field along with their senior students. Please click here to help us out if you can!
