GHBOB update

We are getting down to the wire, folks - but just a few more important events and reminders remain, so please read on.

1. LAST CHANCE! Our GHHS Jazz Ensemble will be performing together one last time TONIGHT, MONDAY MAY 13, at 6:30PM at the GH PUBLIC LIBRARY. The students requested this additional performance opportunity, and Mrs. Olis and the GHPL were more than happy to oblige. This performance will be free, open to the public, and super fun - come join us and bring the kids and your friends and neighbors. You won't be sorry - these kids can jam!
2. SENIOR PICNIC: Speaking of last chances - our band seniors' last chance to hang out with each other and their directors before graduation is the annual SENIOR PICNIC on Sunday May 19. Please click here for all the details and to RSVP - we are still missing just a couple of those.

   BAND CAMP 2024: For all 8th through 11th grade students continuing in band next year,  you can click here for information about Band Camp 2024. Registration forms and payment are due June 30; both can be submitted online, and the links are available on the web page. If you have questions, please click here to email Mrs. Olis, or just reply to this email. Make sure you take note of the summer schedule for GHHS Marching Band (available by clicking here) and add those dates to your family calendar - July 15 will be here before you know it!
4. 
   GHBOB MEETING AND OFFICER ELECTIONS: The final GHBOB meeting of the 2023-24 school year, including officer elections for 2024-25,  will be this Thursday, May 16, at 6:30pm in the GHHS Band Room (enter through the Fairview Ave breezeway doors). Please join us if you are interested! We will head to BARREL & TAPS after the meeting (let's say 7:30 or 8ish??) to celebrate what was a truly amazing year for our group, and give our graduating senior PARENTS the sendoff and celebration they so richly deserve. JOIN US THERE even if you don't make it to the meeting!
