BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Hello GH music families! Can you believe how fast this year is flying by? We know it can be hard to keep up with all that's going on between now and year-end, but we have

you covered with some important news and updates below. Read on!

1. MIDDLE SCHOOL SOLO & ENSEMBLE: In case you missed it, we had a total of TEN middle school students participate in this weekend's OMEA solo & ensemble competition at Canal Winchester High School. Congratulations to seventh and eighth grade students Laura Alvarez-Link, Hudson Barber, Mira Bondy, Evie DeLong, Bruno Lount, Max McCullough, Charlotte Ritzman, Callie Rutter, Audrey Siefker, and Isla Swisher! You can read more about the event and see pictures by clicking here. The BPA is proud to have supported this extended learning and performance opportunity!
2. CAKE WALK VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED! There are still some slots available for you to sign up and volunteer at this year's Cake Walk fundraising event on April 14. Please click here to claim a slot if you haven't done so already - or heck, even if you have! Funds raised through last year's Cake Walk have sent our orchestra and band students on a host of field trip and performance opportunities, and supported lots of other programming for the students as well. Please help us refill our coffers to do the same next year!
3. SENIOR RECOGNITION: Do you have a graduating senior in your home? Please ask them to click here and fill out and submit this form by April 10. We will use this information in our senior recognition program and announcements.
