BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Hello, families, the Band Parents are officially DESPERATE and BEGGING for your help. Please sign up if you can. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

 

1. WE NEED YOUR HELP: five more overnight chaperone volunteers are needed, two women on Sunday 7/21, two men on Wednesday 7/24, and one man on Thursday 7/25. Pleaseconsider clicking hereand signing up to assist. Contact Bridget Kahlewith any questions you may have. 
2. INTRO TO BAND PARENTING: are you the parent of a freshman or new band member? Are you confused by all the information that's coming at you fast and furious? You're not alone, and we're here to help! Mark your calendars for a very short 30-minute "Band Parent Orientation" meeting on Band Camp drop off day (Sunday 7/21) at GHHS. You'll get a brief overview of time commitments and expectations for the many, many volunteer opportunities throughout the season, and have the opportunity to ask any other burning questions you may have. Location and specific time details to follow soon. Stay tuned! 
3. DECAL DRIVE: please also mark your calendars for the evening of Sunday July 28, which is the annual GHHS Marching Band Decal Drive, which is a major fundraising event for the GHBPA. All GHHS Marching Band students are expected to assist, and again, many parent volunteers are needed. More details coming soon.
