BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Greetings Marching Band families! We apologize for the delay in getting updated communications out - the continuing effects of pandemic uncertainty are making it

very challenging these days. As always, we appreciate your patience. Please see below for some IMPORTANT information and a REQUEST FOR YOUR INPUT. 

1. BAND CAMP FAMILY SURVEY: the Board of Education recently approved overnight camps for students, and the BPA is now exploring options for holding the 2021 Band Camp offsite as a sleepaway camp as in years past. To make the sleepaway option cost-effective, a significant number of band students would need to participate (and ideally it is of course preferable if all students are able to do so). To help us plan, we would appreciate your participation in this very brief (2-4 question) surveyregarding potential Band Camp options. Please complete it by June 9, if at all possible. 
2. SUMMER UNIFORM ORDERS: in our last communication on summer uniforms (which all HS band members must purchase from the BPA unless they have handed down items from siblings or friends), we told you that the orders would by due June 3 (which is obviously today) and then never provided an order form or other info. We apologize for that confusion! Complications arose due to a change in vendors and some other matters, which we are still working on sorting out. Watch for an updated communication and order form coming soon (hopefully next week). And in the meantime, rest assured you haven't missed any deadlines.
