BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Greetings, Band families, and congratulations to our seniors and their families, whom we honored and celebrated on Friday night! Here's what's coming up.

1. GHHS JAZZ ENSEMBLE: the Grandview Heights HS Jazz Ensemble kicks off its 2019-20 season this week on Wednesday evening at 7pm in the GHHS auditorium with a program titled "Autumn in the Heights." This is event is free and open to the public. Got a middle school student who's interested in jazz? Bring him/her on out to catch this show!
2. SEASON IN REVIEW: as we approach the end of football season, the GHHS Marching Band will present its "Season in Review" performance this Thursday at 7pm at the Bobcats' home stadium (rain site: GHHS gymnasium). Also free and open to the public, this is a great opportunity to see The Pride of Grandview Heights in action, performing each and every show from the 2019 football season. Great for families, kids, grandparents, and in particular all of you tireless volunteers who may have missed a show or two while volunteering in the concession stand. Don't miss it! 
3. MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL CONCERT: finally, the GH Middle School bands will open up their own concert season in just a few short weeks, on Wednesday Nov. 13. The 5th and 6th grade bands perform at 6pm, and the 7th and 8th grade bands at 7pm, all in the GHHS auditorium. Mark those calendars!
