BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

1.    PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES: GHHS fall athletic and band photos will be taken this year on Friday August 10. All GHHS members need to be present for the

group picture – please arrive at 1:30pm (enter through breezeway door) to get into uniform. SENIORS should plan to arrive one hour earlier, at 12:30pm, for individual photos for senior banners. Note that there is NO retake day (this is set by the school, not by the Band Parents, and we have no control over the scheduling), so this will be the only opportunity for photos. We want all of our marching Bobcats properly represented in senior banners, sports programs, yearbooks, and so on….so please make every effort to be there.
2.    DECAL DRIVE: thanks to the efforts of all of our GHHS band students, as well as many parent volunteers, we have raised almost $10,000 in this year’s Decal Drive. Missed your opportunity to financially support the band program? No you didn’t! You can donate online at our web site (grandviewhtsband.org), or send a check made out to the GH Band Parents Association at P.O. Box 12580, Columbus OH 43212 (please put “2018 Decal Drive” in the subject line). Feel free to pass this info along to Grandma, your neighbor, your boss, or anyone else you think may want to help out our Bobcat bands.
