BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Greetings GH music families! We're getting down to the wire here! I was just advised by my student that there are only eighteen days school days left in this school year. What

the WHAT?! I need to go lie down. Anyway, please read on for a few important updates!

1. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: The Band Parents will be opening the concession stand for this week's home track meet on Wednesday May 3 and we need just a couple of volunteers (one person from 4-6pm, and two from 6-8pm). Super easy duty, no experience necessary! Please pleasePLEASE contact Dot Keil if you are able to help.
2. THIS IS KINGS ISLAND WEEK! If you have a 7th or 8th grade instrumentalist in your home, you probably know that their performance and Kings Island trip is this Saturday, May 6. Got questions about the day? We have tried to answer them all on our web site, so please click here for all of the IMPORTANT details. 
3. SENIOR PICNIC: If you have a senior instrumental music student in your home, please remind them to click here and RSVP for the senior picnic sponsored by the Band Parents Association. Need more details about the where, when, and what? Click here for all that!
4. BAND PARENTS MEETING: Finally, the May meeting of the GH Band Parents will be on May 18 at 6:30pm in the GHHS Band Room. Looking for a new way to get involved? We have a few leadership positions opening up for the next school year. Please come and learn more about it! WE ARE SO FUN TO BE AROUND!
