Hello, families! Only one order of business today: WE NEED MORE BAND CAMP CHAPERONES. Band Camp is coming up very quickly, and as we've mentioned before, this is an "all hands on deck" operation for the Band Parents and the entire band staff. We still need SEVEN men to volunteer as overnight chaperones (also still have one available slot for a woman), so it's time to start talking to ALL the BAND DADS in your lives, and encourage them to volunteer. No experience is necessary - and you just need to complete the school district's (very easy) background check process to be eligible. And then your only job is making sure the kids stay in their rooms and are quiet overnight, so the staff and students can all get some sleep and be ready for the next day's activities. Super easy.
