BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

​Greetings, GH Band families! Here is your Monday morning update.

1. THE END IS NIGH: I'm disappointed to report that we had a few empty volunteer slots for this past Friday's game that were never filled. I don't recall that ever happening in the past few years, and I for one hope it doesn't happen again in this lifetime! THIS FRIDAY IS THE LAST HOME GAME OF THE SEASON. If you haven't helped us out yet, then Now. Is. The. Time.  It's easy it's fun, and we really REALLY need you. It's Senior Night for our band seniors, which means that all the the senior parents will be otherwise occupied. Please do your part to help us in this important effort. Find the signup genius here. 
2. SENIOR DINNER: speaking of the band seniors, the Band Parents Association traditionally provides a pregame dinner in honor of our seniors, towards the end of the regular season, and that's happening this Friday, October 18. Note that even though it's in honor of our seniors,  ALL BAND MEMBERS GET FED! Report times for Friday are as follows: seniors 5:00-5:15, juniors 5:10-5:25, sophomores 5:20-5:35, freshman 5:30-5:45. Dinner will be served in the HS cafeteria. 
3. MIDDLE SCHOOL SHIRTS: do you have a middle school band student? Did you order a navy blue GH Bands polo shirt yet? The deadline for orders was last Friday, but the online form will be open until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. Please remember that we ask all fifth grade families to submit an order form even if you have a shirt (there is space to note this on the form). Students in grade 6-8 who need a new shirt may also submit a form at this time. THIS IS THE DROP DEAD DEADLINE, please make sure to submit your form if you haven't already.
