BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Hello music lovers! Did you catch our Class of 2027 Marching Bobcats on the field with the GHHS Marching Band on Friday night? Super exciting stuff - we are really proud of

our eighth graders! Here are a few updates from the Band Parents this week:

1. I'M WITH THE BAND T-SHIRTS: Are you with the band? Good news! Now you can tell the world! Our limited edition "I'm With the Band" t-shirts are back this year in a new and dazzling color combination (navy+white), for a limited time only. Click here to order yours for just $15 from our friends and great supporters at State of Devotion, with proceeds to benefit the instrumental music students of GH schools. Order before this Sunday September 25 for delivery in time for the Homecoming Game! 2. HEY GUESS WHAT, WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP: It's an away game for our marching Bobcats this week, which means our volunteer needs are much lighter.....but they didn't go away entirely! We still need two chaperones to ride the bus with the students on Friday night, one additional volunteer to help with uniform check-out and check-in, and NEW THIS WEEK: we have been advised that the visitors' seating area at Kipp Columbus is very, very limited. Thus, we are asking for two (or more!) parent volunteers who would be willing to arrive at the game early (by 6:30pm) to attempt to hold space in the bleachers sufficient for our 60 students and their instruments. PLEASE CLICK HERE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO LEP WITH ANY OF THESE IMPORTANT TASKS. Thanks so much!

   BAND PARENTS MEETING CANCELED: Finally, you may have seen notice of a Band Parents meeting scheduled for this week on Thu 9/22, and we KNOW you were all dying to come.....but please be aware we have had to cancel that meeting date.
