BAND CAMP FORMS AND PAYMENT: reminder that your student's Band Camp forms and payment are due JULY 7, 2021 (Heads up: that's next week! No, really! I swear!) All forms can be found here, and should be delivered to the enclosed front porch at 1419 Mulford Rd when completed. Please remember that physician signatures are necessaryfor the medication forms, and with the holiday coming up it may be hard to get your doc's attention, so you will want to get started on that soon! Payment can be submitted through the link you'll find here. And remember, lots of other helpful Band Camp info can be found in the Band Camp Newsletter, which is available here.
BAND CAMP VOLUNTEERS: westill need just a handful of volunteers to help make band camp a reality - please visit the signupgenius and claim your slot ASAP. Note also that the school district requires background checks for any volunteer who doesn't already have a current one. This is free and easy to complete, but can take a couple of weeks to turn around, so it's a good idea to get this going ASAP as well, since Band Camp is only four weeks away! We really can't send the students off to camp unless we have all of these slots filled - so please, please, PLEASE help us out and sign up today!
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPS: each year the GHBPA offers community sponsorships to local businesses who would like to invest in the GH band program. Sponsors receive benefits including recognition in concert programs, on our web site, and at Bobcat sporting events in appreciation of their financial support. We are looking for your help in identifying new potential sponsors - if you own, work for, or otherwise know of a business that might be interested, please send your suggestions to Dot Keil, this week so that we can send them an invitation with details. (The GHBPA is a 501 (c)(3) organization.)
