REMINDER that the Calendar is available here.
Hello Band Seniors and Family Members! Just a quick reminder that WE NEED YOUR HELP with a couple of projects. (PARENTS, please help your students remember these things....)
1. BAND YEARS OF PARTICIPATION: Mr. Herrmann has already shared a google doc with you, asking for your help in identifying the number of years that you have participated in various band organizations at GHHS. Find it here, in case you misplaced his email. We will need this information to complete Senior Night awards - so please provide it no later than APRIL 15. 2. FAVORITE MEMORIES: each band senior should supply a “favorite band memory” to me ([email protected] or 614-314-8481) no later than APRIL 15th. NOTE: I have only heard from ONE of you so far! These will be used in the senior recognition section of the spring concert program. They should be BRIEF (no more than a sentence or so at the most - think old school Twitter), and relate in some way to your time in the band programs. Please note I may need to EDIT for brevity, to make everything fit. 3. PHOTOS, VIDEOS, ETC: another parent helper (Mary Landrum) will be assembling a short video montage to share with all of the band seniors that night. She welcomes your photos and silly/short videos, again, no later than APRIL 15th. Mary has only received materials from a few of her so far. Pictures from concerts, football games, band camp, and other band activities are especially encouraged - even going all the way back to 5-6-7-8 grade bands if you have them! You may email or text any items to Mary at [email protected] or 614-216-7948. Thanks so much for your help. Thanks, all! Questions? Let me know!
