BAND PARENTS' UPDATE (CAKE WALK EDITION)

This message was sent to the families of all Grandview Heights High School Band students
1. CAKE WALK NEEDS YOU: Cake Walk this year will be on Friday, April 5, from 6:30 to

 9:30pm in the High School gym. This is a beloved community event with a 70-year history, and also happens to be a major fundraiser for the Band Parents Association. Many MANY parent volunteers are needed to make this night a success, and we ask that all parents of band students in grades 5 through 12 help us out. Please visit the sigunupgenius TODAY and claim a slot…. or two…. or three! We are very grateful for your help!
2. CAKE WALK CAKES: remember also that every family is asked to donate one cake per band student (so two cakes for families with two band students, three cakes for families with three students, etc). These cakes will be given away as prizes throughout the night. They can be dropped off at the HS gym on the day of the event, any time between 3 and 5 pm.
3. CAKE WALK BANDS: all band students in grades 7 through 12 will perform at the Cake Walk unless excused in advance. Report and performance times will be provided later - but for now, please mark your calendars accordingly.
