BAND PARENTS' UDPATE

Hey, hey, hey, Grandview music families! We are just about ready to round the corner on halfway through the fall marching season, hard as that may be to believe. A few

important updates for all families are below....and we sure could use your help this Friday, too!

1. EIGHTH GRADE BAND DEBUT! Our Eighth Grade band students will make an appearance on the field with the GHHS Marching Band at this week's Bobcat football game on Friday night! Families of eighth graders can expect their navy blue GH Band polo shirts to be sent home with their students from school, and should watch for other details about the whens and wheres coming from Mrs. Olis, later this week. And for everyone else - we hope you can come out and support our 8th grade marching Bobcats on Friday night!
2. MIDDLE SCHOOL PERFORMANCE SHIRTS: Going forward, the Middle School Band and Orchestra directors have decided that all middle school band and orchestra students (with the exception of the 8th grade band as noted above) will wear GH logo t-shirts for performances. Families will order and purchase shirts through the Band Parents organization, and we will be supplying an order form and additional details very soon. A HUGE thank you to middle school band parents Emily Gephart and Laura Swisher for volunteering to coordinate this process - we are SO very grateful to them both!
