BAND DIRECTOR'S UPDATE

Great win for the Bobcats and a great performance by The Pride at halftime!!!  We’re looking forward to debuting Show 2 this week - “Magical Mystery Tour.”  Also, don’t

forget the Ox Roast Pit Lighting after the game vs. North Union on Friday. 

Ox Roast Pit Lighting - Friday, September 8
Just a quick courtesy reminder for this Friday, September 8th.  All band members will be responsible for reporting to the Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary parking lot at a pre-determined time following the game.

Wednesday/Thursday Night Rehearsals
Per the list above, there are four remaining Wednesday or Thursday Night Rehearsals for this season and that number will not increase.  All four remaining rehearsals are considered required and will be calculated into your grade.  Exceptions to the requirement are (1) for athletes who have traveling matches which return later than 9:00PM on the dates listed above, or, (2) on a case-by-case basis as needed.  Work and non-Grandview Heights activities should be scheduled around Evening Rehearsals; please submit the dates above to your work management or advisors.  

Our next night rehearsal is Thursday, September 7th, 8:00-10:00PM 

Traditional Uniform
The band will transition to its ‘traditional’ or ‘formal’ uniform this week.  There are several components to the uniform:

• Jacket
• Trousers/Pants
• White Marching Shoes
• White Gloves (except percussion)
• Long White Socks
• Hat
