To all;
I intended to send a marching band wrap-up email two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, the

transition to Concert Band snuck up quickly and its been a marathon ever since.  Please accept my apologies for the delay. 

Marching Band 2018 - Wrap-Up
Congratulations to our students, parents, community members, and marching band staff for another successful season!  From day one on July 16th, we worked hard in all aspects of the program; from student leadership to performance, from volunteerism to fundraising, and finally, from Pregame to Show 5. 

The success of the members of the Grandview Heights Marching Band is due in large part to the support received from the officers, committee chairs, volunteers, and members of the Band Parent Association.  The band staff and BPA officers wish to thank the following for their continued volunteerism:

Pep Band 2018-2019
The 2018-2019 edition of the Grandview Pep Band begins on Tuesday, Dec. 4th.  We will perform for 4 girls games and 4 boys games.  All members of Concert Band are required to perform for 3 games (1 girls, 1 boys, 1 of their choice; boys/girls basketball perform for each other).  Here is the full schedule so you can check your personal/athletic/extra-curricular schedule before you sign up.

Friday Dec. 14 Boys vs. Bexley
Saturday Jan. 12 Boys vs. Washington Court House (Hall of Fame Game)
Friday Jan. 18 Boys vs. Worthington Christian
Wednesday Jan. 23 Girls vs. Bishop Rosecrans
Thursday Jan. 31 Girls vs. Whitehall-Yearling (Senior Night)
Thursday Feb. 7 Girls vs. Licking Valley
Saturday Feb. 16 Boys vs. Utica (Senior Night)

Sign ups begin next Monday and should be completed next week.  

Game Format: Band will play out of their flip folder between JV and Varsity, 1st to 2nd quarter break, and halftime.  Students are released after halftime.  Grandview apparel is encouraged.
