BAND DIRECTOR'S UPDATE

​Welcome back!  The members of the Grandview Heights Marching Band have been hard at work for over a month now.  Jazz Ensemble will dust off their instruments this

week as the 2019-2020 school year begins.  Just a quick email today regarding the 2019-2020 GHHS Bands Handbook and Agreement Form.
We are no longer distributing a printed version of the Bobcat Bands Handbook; instead, the handbook is available online in two locations:

• Grandview Heights Band Website - from the ‘Documents’ tab: https://www.grandviewhtsband.org/documents.html
• Schoology - Band Class Pages (Marching/Concert Band or Jazz Ensemble) - in the ‘Policies & Procedures’ folder

Updates to the 2019-2020 Handbook

• Grading Policy
• Cell Phone Policy
• Sign-Out Procedure

All GHHS band students and parents (Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble) are required to review the handbook.  Once you have reviewed the handbook, please click on the ‘Agreement Form’ link on the final page of the handbook.  One parent and the student should electronically sign the form.  This agreement also provides permission for students to travel during the school year, including away football games.

Agreement Form electronic signatures are due Monday, August 26.
