To all; With thetransition to traditional/formal uniforms, there are always questions about uniform components and parts. Please let the following information serve as a guide.
Traditional Uniform Parts There are several components to the uniform:
The first three items (Jacket, Trousers/Pants, and Hat) are stored at GHHS and students will check them out before each game and check them back in after each game. The last three (White Marching Shoes, White Gloves (except percussion), and Long White Socks) are the students’ responsibility. There have been problems in the past with students (5-10 total) not wearing long white socks. Moving forward, all students who do not comply with this requirement will be asked to turn in their uniform and will be given zero credit for the performance/game in question. Here are two examples of acceptable socks: Boys - https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-865196/goldtoe-6-pk-athletic-crew-socks.jsp?color=White&prdPV=2 Girls - https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3060852/womens-goldtoe-6-pk-solid-soft-crew-socks.jsp?color=White&prdPV=6 Any brand/price is acceptable. Additionally, its an option to pair/group up with friends to purchase socks (if they didn’t have any already) to save money. Lastly, please don’t hesitate to reply to any updates or contact me via email, Twitter or by phone. Go Bobcats!!! Mr. Herrmann Comments are closed.
