BAND DIRECTOR'S UPDATE

Auditions for the 2022-2023 GHHS Jazz Ensemble are fast approaching.  All current 8th through 11th grade students are eligible to audition for next year’s group.  Auditions

will take place the week of March 14-18 and are scheduled individually with Mr. Herrmann.  
The 2022-2023 Jazz Ensemble will have the following vacancies:

• Saxophone - 2-4 spots
• Trumpet - 4-5 spots
• Trombone - 4 spots
• Piano
• Bass
• Guitar
• Drum set (tentative)

Note: Students who perform on flute/oboe/clarinet/french horn are strongly encouraged to audition!!
Audition information and music is available in the Jazz Ensemble Audition Materials Schoology group.  You can automatically gain access to the group by signing into Schoology; 

• Click on “Groups”
• Click on “My Groups” (upper right hand side)
• Click on the “Join Group” button
