BAND DIRECTOR'S UDPATE

It has been a few weeks since our last band update.  You would have heard from me sooner but we were still finalizing details for this upcoming week.  My

apologies for the delay.

It’s the Holiday Season!!  Time to celebrate with the GHHS Bands (Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band).  There are two events on the calendar - “Holiday in the Heights”, Tuesday Dec. 7 and the GHHS Bands Holiday Concert, Thursday, Dec. 9.  Details below:

12/7 ‘Holiday in the Heights’ - Jazz Ensemble Only
Jazz Ensemble Performance - 5:30-6:00PM
Location: Corner of 2nd and Grandview
Instrument Pick-Up: 4:30-4:55PM
Setup: 5:00PM
Downbeat: 5:30PM
Tear Down: 6:00PM
Instrument Drop Off: 6:20-6:45PM
Dress: Holiday/Festive Casual
Saxes/Trumpets/Trombone - You are responsible for your transportation and instrument.
Rhythm Section - You will need to assist with loading/unloading and provide your own transportation.

 12/9 GHHS Bands Holiday Concert
7:30PM
Location: NEW LMS (GHHS) Gymnasium
Concert Band Report: 7:00PM
Jazz Ensemble Report: 7:10PM
Dress: Dress shirt/blouse, dress pants/skirt (tights with skirt), dress shoes.  Tie optional.  Festive hats/accessories for closing number.
Note: All performers and audience members are required to wear face coverings/masks indoors.
