Last week we got treated to a spectacular three-day run of music making, in which all 200+ of our Grandview Heights instrumental music students got to play a role! On
Tuesday evening, the GH Orchestra gave its final concert of the school year, with students in grades 5 through 12 taking the stage - check out the photos below! Two graduating senior cellists, Skylar Binning and Carmen Cunningham, and one junior cellist who will study abroad next year, Emina Osborne, were also celebrated. Carmen also received the Pablo Casals Orchestra Award, recognizing her significant contributions to the GH orchestra program, and several other students were selected as the top orchestra students in their respective groups. You can see the full list of honorees by clicking here.

Then on Wednesday evening, the students of the middle school bands took the stage for their final concert of the school year. Again, several young musicians were recognized and celebrated for their solo and ensemble and honor band participation, or selection by their peers or their directors for special awards. Click here to see the full list of honorees.

Rounding out this very special week, the students of the GHHS jazz ensemble and concert band took the stage for their final home concert of the 24-25 school year, and there are photos from this concert below as well.
