The GHBOB Board is thrilled about this amazing opportunity for our students, and we know that parents and families have lots of questions. We do, too! We don't know a lot of answers yet, but we will be working with District administration and our band and orchestra directors to get as many of them answered as we can, as soon as possible. And we'll use this web site as a central point for all information sharing.

$4,555 - $4,655 per traveler
(Final cost dependent on whether we include an optional theatre ticket, TBD)

INCLUDED IN THE TRIP COST

  • New Years Day Parade GHHS Marching Band performance (orchestra students can join as balloon handlers)
  • Gala Concert Series GHHS Orchestra performance
  • Round trip flights 
  • Safe and dedicated transportation for all large and delicate musical instruments
  • Six nights of lodging within London
  • All breakfasts and dinners in London
  • All transportation in and around London
  • Basic traveler insurance
  • Guided tours of the Tower of London, Windsor and Windsor Castle, and Oxford
  • Thames boat tour and three audio-guided walking tours

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRIP COST

  • Obtaining valid passports and necessary visas is entirely the responsibility of families
  • Transportation to and from the airport in the US (potentially provided by school buses)
  • Daily lunch/midday meals
  • Spending money for personal shopping, snacks, and souvenirs
  • Gratuities for the dedicated tour director 
  • Any additional sightseeing outside of the main itinerary (TBD)
