What a fantastic performance of show 2 on Friday night! This week we look forward to marching in the Homecoming Parade, premiering parts of show 3, and having the 8th grade band members join us!
Evening Rehearsals We have two more Evening Rehearsals for this season and that number will not increase. All rehearsals are considered required and will be calculated into your grade. Exceptions to the requirement are (1) for athletes who have traveling matches which return later than 9:00PM, or, (2) on a case-by-case basis as needed. Work and non-Grandview Heights activities should be scheduled around Evening Rehearsals; please submit the dates above to your work management or advisors. Our next night rehearsal is THIS Thursday, September 26, 8:00-10:00PM. Traditional Uniform - Reminder There are several components to the uniform:

The traditional Homecoming Parade will step off from the Fairview Ave. parking lot at 6:00PM. For new band parents - the parade route is 1st Ave to Grandview Ave to 3rd Ave and back to the stadium. You’re welcome and encouraged to come cheer on the band!! 9/27 Home vs. Whetstone - 7:00PM (Homecoming and 8th Band Night) Uniform: Traditional Band Dinner with 8th Grade: 4:30pm Dress/Take Items to Stadium: 5:10pm **You may not carry items with you during the parade** Warm-Up: 5:30pm Parade Line-Up: 5:50pm (Fairview Ave. Parking Lot) Parade: 6:00pm Pregame: ~6:45pm Kick Off: 7:00pm Upcoming Events 9/26 Thursday Night Rehearsal, 8:00-10:00pm 9/27 Home vs. Worthington Christian (Homecoming, 8th Grade Band Night) 10/4 Away at Worthington Christian 10/10 GHBOB Meeting, Band Room, 6:30pm 10/11 Away at Centennial Lastly, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email with any questions or concerns!!
