GHBOB UPDATE

YOU GUYS! Band Camp is almost here! Everything kicks off next week with pre-camp rehearsals at the school. Read on for details and updates!

1. SUMMER UNIFORM ORDERS: The order form for summer uniform items is now available by clicking here. ALL INCOMING FRESHMEN MEMBERS MUST PLACE AN ORDER USING THIS FORM. Returning upper class members who need new items to replace a lost, damaged, or outgrown uniform item may also do so, but it is not required. ALL ORDERS FOR ALL STUDENTS ARE DUE JULY 19 to ensure delivery in time for the Band's first performance on August 11. We apologize for the tight turnaround!
2. VOLUNTEERS: We still need TWO ADULT VOLUNTEERS on our otherwise very full signupgenius. Click here to see it! Please please PLEASE fill one of these spots if you can! We are especially in need of one overnight chaperone for Thursday night. 
3. 
   PRE-CAMP NEXT WEEK! As you know, pre-camp rehearsals kick off on MONDAY JULY 15 with squad leaders and ALL percussionists reporting for duty. That group plus ALL freshmen members come in on Tuesday, and then the full band comes in Weds-Fri together. Please click here for full schedule details, and remind your students to come prepared with good marching shoes, hats/sunglasses/sunscreen, and LOTS of water because they will be outside marching for some portion of each rehearsal day.

   AND THEN IT'S TIME FOR BAND CAMP! Hard as it is to believe, the students leave for Otterbein in a little less than a week, on SUNDAY JULY 21. As a reminder, full details about everything you need to know about Band Camp are available by clicking here, but here are a few important callouts:

• Students check in for Band Camp on Sunday at staggered times. Please check the schedule and plan accordingly. 
• Click here for the medication form which must be completed for ANY medication your student brings to camp with them. You and your student's doctor will need to sign the form, and then bring the form and medication to check-in day and meet with the Camp Nurse to hand off the form and meds. 
• Click here for a packing list that will help you and your student prepare for Band Camp.
• Click here for the Band Camp rules and remind your student to follow them or face school, band, and (presumably worst of all) parent consequences.
• Finally, please please PLEASE remind your student NOT TO LOSE THEIR ROOM KEYCARD. We have a few go missing every year, and your family will be responsible for the cost of replacement which can be up to $150.
