BAND PARENTS' UPDATE

Hello GH Band families! Just a few notes this week from the GHBPA:

1. ARE YOU A PARENT OF AN UNDERCLASSMAN? Then this message is for YOU. A reminder that we REALLY ESPECIALLY TOTALLY COMPLETELY need your help on Homecoming (Friday 10/13) and Senior night (Friday 10/20). Many/most senior parents will be otherwise occupied on those nights, so we will need an especially good turnout of freshman, sophomore, and junior parents. THESE NIGHTS ARE COMING UP QUICKLY. Please don’t make us beg! Are you a middle school band parent who likes popping popcorn, or grilling burgers, or chatting with a whole bunch of nice people? Then we can use you, too. 1. HOMECOMING: Homecoming week festivities will kick off soon – don’t forget our band will be featured in the Homecoming parade at 6pm on Friday, October 13. Come out and cheer them on! And congratulations to the following senior band members who are a part of the 2017 Homecoming Court: Eli Evans, Dylan Fitch, Eli Hall, Matt York, Anna Dobies, Maddy James, Jenna Keller, and Kirsten Lower. Way to represent, GHHS band seniors! (Did I mention that all their parents will be busy on Oct 13, so we need YOU to volunteer that night? I did? Cool. Thanks, see you then!)
