The GH Band & Orchestra Boosters sponsor an annual year-end picnic for the graduating seniors in our marching and concert band, jazz ensemble, and orchestra groups, at the home of one of our seniors. Please note this is a directors and students only event (no siblings, buddies, parents, significant others, etc, please), and is meant to be a last opportunity for the students to reminisce and trade stories and memories with the directors before leaving GHHS.

This was an event launched in 2021, as a substitute for the lost "senior night" at the 2020 Band Camp that never happened - but we have continued it ever since, in part because it gives us the opportunity to include and celebrate all of our seniors, not just the marching band students. This year's picnic is being co-hosted by Karen & Adam Smith and Molly & Dave Schmied at the Smiths' home. GHBOB will provides dinner and dessert - and we are told that if the weather permits, the pool will be open for the students' use!

The event this year will be on Friday May 16, at 5pm, at the Smith residence at 1228 Wyandotte Rd. (Note this IS a date change, in case you had seen a different date elsewhere.) Please click here to RSVP for your student so we can have a head count for food and drink purposes.
